As I begin my research for my next formal assignment, I look deeply into gratitude. This project is meant to provide insight on the real meaning of gratitude and well-being. To start off my writing process, I took a week where every night before bed, I wrote down three things I was grateful for that day. Some were little and simplistic and others were things I never noticed I had before. Some readings i used before starting this process was What is Positive Psychology & Why Is it Important?, Greater Good in Action: Science-Based Practices for a Meaningful Life, and Three Good Things. You can find my entires in my tenth blog post titled a week of three good things. Next, I measured my "happiness" by taking the Happiness quiz and in my post research project: happiness quiz, I explain how I am using that research in my project and what I think my score means. In blog post 12, research project: introduction scene, I took an entry from my three good things exercise and composed a scene. With that scene, I plan on using that to open my research paper in hopes to grab my audiences attention. In my last two blog post (Research Project: Literary Review and Research Project: Findings section) that are dedicated to the research project. I decided to upload my literary review and findings section from my paper. I found there was more to add to both and this helped me conclude my writing process for this project.
Here I will provide drafts of my research project:
